"Every decision I make is a choice between grievance and a miracle." (A Course in Miracles
"If you enter into the discipline necessary to bring about a radical change in your life, you must do so deliberately, after giving the matter careful though and full consideration, and then you must allow nothing to interfere with your decision. (Charles Haanes)
"Think truly, and thy thoughts
shall the worlds famine feed;
Speak truly, and each word of thine
shall be a fruitful seed;
Live truly, and thy life shall be
a great and noble creed." (Horatio Bonar)
"Every resentment is like drinking poison and believing is will kill your enemy" (Nelson Mandela)
True power is having your thoughts under your control, so that you can create a harmonious life experience for yourself, without the need of competition, but the realization of your spiritual connection with others and the effects of your thoughts and actions upon others.
Have you ever thought every detail of an conversation through before it actually has happened, including the possible responds of the other person?
Did you rehearse the responds as negative?
If you have, stop!
What you did, is called visualization. Visualization is the most powerful tool in the creative process of Law of Attraction. You are literally creating the outcome by rehearsing your expected conversation.
Do you want a negative outcome? Of course not!
Therefore, instead of of rehearsing it in a negative light, visualize the conversation in it's best possible way. Design the outcome to be the most powerful, and positive outcome that you can imagine!
Now, doesn't that feel better?
You have just taken a major step in creating a powerful future.
When is the last time you sat in silence, not with a book in your hand, but completely still with nothing but yourself, your thoughts, your breathing?
This stillness, not only through meditation but simple stillness can give you tremendous peace. It emphasizes your being present in your now, where you have nowhere to hide, nothing to hide behind. It is the opportunity to listen deeply within you as well as the opportunity to listen with-out.
Constant bombardment with information and the misinterpretation of lack of time to just be - even if only for a moment - has brought us to avoid stillness.
If we do embrace "free time", we tend to drowned it through television or other media to escape.
But finding yourself again, reconnecting with our essence - our thoughts - it an opportunity you should seriously consider.
Make the practice of stillness part of your routine today!
Many times being single is looked upon as a temporary time, while looking desperately for another person to connect to.
Being single though, is your perfect opportunity for you.
Let me explain:
1. It is the opportunity to define and ask for what you want in a spouse, and how you want that relationship to play out.
2. It is the opportunity to fill the parts of you for yourself, that you previously thought, you are in need of another person to fill. In other words, it is your chance to become whole, complete, and the best that you can be.
3. It is the opportunity to focus on all areas of your life, to create balanced future.
While it seems, that this is an easy thing to say for a person who has been married for years, I can say out of the contrast, that it is easier to grow and learn to become yourself, as a non-attached person, compared to one with the responsibilities of a parent and a spouse.
While these responsibilities will take your focus of you, and especially have to when your kids are young, the opportunity to step back and look at your life, without these attachments are tremendous.
But what to do, while you are single with children?
It is again an opportunity, to show your kids how working on yourself, is a priority over looking for another person to fulfill you. As they see you embrace your own power of thinking, create what you need to feel good about yourself, without settling for a spouse just to feel that hole, you are raising by and through example. Filling yourself, growing within yourself is the best gift you can give yourself and them.

Personal responsibility is getting away from blaming outside forces for the situations we are in.
McDonald's did not make you eat these super-sized fries, your neighbor did not make you angry, by having a party last night.
Personal responsibility is looking at a situation, without blame toward outside influences, other people, or even yourself. It means to take inventory of the situation and it's outcome, and to adjust your thoughts, words and actions according to your desired result.
Look at some areas in your life, where you can exercise your personal responsibility today. May it be:
Health - that includes weight issues
Take a moment today, to write in your journal or blog, about how your actions have influenced your life-sections.
Remember this is not to direct blame toward you, but to give you accountability and allow you to see your responsibility of your choices in the big picture, that is your life.
Have a wonderful day!

"When you worry about problems, it can give you the feeling that you are doing something about them. And in fact you are. You're making them worse, giving them more power, compounding their negative influence by the force of your own thoughts. Is that really what you want to do?
Think of your biggest problem, your most challenging obstacle. Now find something positive about it. Envision a way in which you can transform it from a negative to a positive in your life. Maintaining a positive focus is easy to do. It doesn't cost any money. It simply involves an adjustment in your attitude. It is without question a precursor to success and achievement.
So why don't people do it? Because staying negative is too comfortable. Worrying and complaining don't oblique you to take action, to take control, to take responsibility. That can be scary. Yet is sure beats the alternative of making your problems worse, by worry and inactivity.
See the positive and then do something about it, make the effort to make it happen. That approach will get you where you want to go."
"Every day gives us an opportunity to either open up, or shut down, and that the most precious opportunity presents itself when you think you can't handle whatever is happening. So if, in that moment, you can train yourself to open up instead of shutting down."
Choice, it all boils down to the choices we make each moment. How to react to the challenge that found its way into our lives because of past thinking, how we react from now on, is our choice and only ours.
Of course, there are moments to be angry, and I do not suggest that you pretend you never are, but use anger instead, as the signal, that change needs to be made, and adjustments need to be done.
Your choice to react by repressing, or compensating with food, or any other destructive behavior, is not constructive. I do not need to point that out to you. But instead, I want to give you an option, of taking any opportunity, may it be a loss of a job, or a struggle with weight, to change your view of how you would confront the issue.
Will you shut down and hide, or will you take deliberate action? Will you whine or will you ask specific questions on how to learn from that moment? If you choose the later, you will have the opportunity to grow, any even if you might encounter another time a similar situation, you will have new tools how to deal with them.
You have then learned, you have grown, and then, realizing that all moments are opportunities to learn from, situations will loose their power, and fear will melt away.
That is when you are ready to co-create your life.
Have a wonderful day!
